Our Project

PLASTIC FREE SAINT MARTIN

Saint Martin Island, a unique valuable tourist destination in Bangladesh, is facing severe environmental damage due to plastic pollution, although its current condition is very deplorable.

Growing Together

Growing Together is a 2 years’ program focusing on the Rohingya refugee crisis in Coxs Bazar, Bangladesh and 5 organizations from Bangladesh, Denmark and Romania have come together to execute this program supported by Erasmus+.

Climate camp & CLIMATEPRENEUR

Climate Camp Bangladesh is an initiated by The Earth Society, who is appealing and encouraging youth to take actions for the environment. We are following the launch of the UN Decade on Ecosystem Restoration 2021 – 2030 and the focus for 2022- Only One Earth.

SECRETARIAT OF CLIMATE PARLIAMENT

The Climate Parliament Bangladesh is a group of parliamentarians who will play a critical and significant role. Climate Parliament MPs are at the forefront of a parliamentary campaign to fast track the creation of the Sustainable and Renewable Energy Development Agency (SREDA).

MOVERS PROGRAMME

The Movers Programme is a regional movement of volunteers who develop SDGs awareness, entrepreneurial mindsets and 21st-century skills by conducting localized training at a grassroots level. The Movers Programme uses a training-of-trainer and works with community partners to target harder-to-reach groups and support Youth Co:Lab’s objective to leave no youth behind.

PARTICIPATORY EARTHQUAKE PREPAREDNESS IN SCHOOL (PEPS)

The PEPS project worked on earthquake preparedness knowledge to the students and teachers of primary schools by conducting various kinds of drill under the technical cooperation of Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA). JICA helped the EARTH in implementing ‘Disaster Reduction Learning Center’s (DRLC) training program through deploying Japan Overseas Cooperation Volunteers (JOCV).

EKTI BOI EKTI BHUBON

This project started on 1st January, 2013. This was a campaign of making opportunities for reading books. Here, people can also provide their books (Old or New) to this campaign. Throughout this project, students have been getting books for 15 days and after the duration they will have to return back the books to the authorized person with a written review of their own book by their own.

This project has been initiated by the Department of Youth Development of the Ministry of Youth and Sports and operated by Spellbound Leo Burnett and The Earth Society.

The Earth is directly working for the sustainability of Sundarbans, the biggest mangrove forest of the world and one of the UNESCO heritage sites. It is directly working with the indiginous honey hunters community locally called Mawalies who are living in the forest fringe villages in Sunderbans.
